My name is Josh and I’m a security consultant specialising in security improvement and remediation. Some of my specialist areas include DevOps, cloud solutions, bare metal infrastructure and networks. Areas in which I am further developing my knowledge include containers and orchestration, serverless, threat modelling and telecoms.

When I’m not doing work, I am a games server administrator specialising in hosting Minecraft servers, especially modded servers. Games are a big part of my life, with my favourite game series being Halo after picking up Halo: Reach as my first FPS game. Currently the games I am most interested in are League of Legends, Stellaris and Halo Infinite.

My other main hobby is music, having listened to over 80,000 minutes in 2020 according to my Spotify Wrapped. The main genres I listen to are rock, indie and electronic, but I also enjoy classical music (mainly movie and game soundtracks) and some pop music. Attending concerts is one of my favourite things to do, having been to over a dozen concerts in the 18 months leading up to March 2020. Some of my favourite artists include Foals, STARSET, YONAKA, Bleachers and EDEN.
